Problem:
A user is receiving an error saying "The core server you are connecting to does not appear to have a valid license." However the user can login using the web console. The user has the same rights, and is a member of the same groups, as other users, but cannot login to a remote console. The account has been removed and re-created on the core server and a re- activation of the core server has occured all to no avail. The server has also been re-booted. Nothing seems to fix the issue for this one user.
Fix:
This issue was specific to Citrix Xenapp. The user was able to logon to the console directly on the core, directly on one of the Xenapp server nodes hosting the Landesk application (without using the Xenapp application) and via Xenapp if someone else logged onto the Xenapp portal and then he logged into the console.
