Error message:
Unable to load xml/eventing.nav
Problem:
When you try to edit an alerting ruleset in the LDMS Windows console, you get an error dialog with the message, "Unable to load xml/eventing.nav".
Cause:
The content for the alerting ruleset is being downloaded using HTTPS and Internet Explorer is configured to not save encrypted pages to disk.
Solution / Workaround:
To resolve this issue, perform the following steps on the computer that is having the issue:
- Launch Internet Explorer.
- From the Tools Menu, select Internet Options.
- Select the Advanced Tab, then scroll down to the Security section.
- Uncheck the option "Do not save encrypted pages to disk"
Re-launch the Alert Ruleset edit window again. The problem should be resolved.
